Complimentary Consultation
Once you're interested in learning more, we'll set up a no-obligation consultation for us to talk details of doula services and get to know one another a bit. This is the perfect time for you to ask any and all questions you have about doula services, pregnancy, and birth.
24/7 Phone & Email Support
As soon as our contract is signed, I am on call for you. I'm here to answer any questions you have related to your pregnancy, upcoming birth, and postpartum preparation.
2 Prenatal Consults
I'll meet with you and your partner for two consults during your pregnancy so that we can discuss your desires, answer your questions, and be as prepared for your birth as possible.
Education
I have a degree in Education and I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Birth Doula - your education about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is of utmost importance to me. I firmly believe competence is confidence, and your experience will automatically be more exciting and enjoyable when you know what to expect and the ins and outs of all of your options.
During Labor
It is impossible to over-communicate during this time. Again, I am on call for you, so even if your'e wondering if this *might* be labor, let's communicate about it! I'll help you navigate early labor, and I'll begin face-to-face support for you as soon as you ask me to join you during your labor. Labor support looks different for every mom, and how I support you is completely personalized to what you need in the moment. We'll discuss what this may look like during our prenatal consults, and keeping those discussions in mind, I'll support you according to what you need in the moments of labor and delivery.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any Clinical Tasks
I do not replace the role of your midwife or doctor. I am, however, a part of your care team and will work alongside your chosen team to provide you with the greatest care.
Make Decisions for You
I never make decisions for you - I will, however, always support your advocacy so that you have all of the information you need to make the best, most informed decision for yourself and your family. This is your experience. As you are educated and informed, you will make the right decision for you and your family, and I will fully support you in your decision.
After Baby is Born
I'll remain with you for support and to hold space for your new family for the first 1-3 hours after baby is born. You'll have support during baby's first feeding(s).
Postpartum Consult
We'll have our final consult within two weeks of baby's birth. This is a beautiful opportunity for you to process your birth story, build a list of postpartum resources, and clarify anything you'd like with me before our contract is complete.
